Basic RiderCourse

(licensing requirement)

Saturday & Sunday 8 AM to 5 PM both days

(every weekend, all year)

The MSF Basic RiderCourse (BRC) takes a novice rider, or one who has not ridden in quite some time, from motorcycle familiarization to some advanced riding techniques in just two days! The BRC is mandatory for anyone applying for a class M license in Texas.

You MUST complete the MSF Basic eCourse prior (within 30 days) to your class date. The eCourse takes approximately 3 hours to complete. You will need to bring a copy of the completion certificate with you on the first day of class. If you do not bring the certificate with you, you will not be permitted to take the class. Refunds will not be issued if you arrive without your certificate. DO NOT pay for the MSF Basic eCourse. After registration for the Basic RiderCourse, you will receive an email with the link and a coupon code for the eCourse.

Basic RiderCourse 2

BRC2 is normally held on Mondays  -  8 AM to 5 PM

For riders who already have basic skills. Similar to the BRC except speeds are higher and you will be on your own motorcycle. It is a perfect way for you to reinforce basic skills on your own motorcycle. The BRC2 is an excellent refresher course for practicing and renewing riding skills as well as a self-assessment opportunity. Passengers are allowed in the BRC2.  If you ride often with a passenger, then you should consider taking the course with one on the bike.

The BRC2 can be arranged for your group/club/etc. Call for details.

Advanced RiderCourse

ARC is normally held on Mondays  -  8 AM to 5 PM

A one-day course that complements your basic skills and helps with personal risk assessment. It includes a fast-paced classroom segment with several fun interactive activities to improve perception and hazard awareness. Range exercises enhance both basic operating skills and crash-avoidance skills. Improving your braking and cornering finesse is emphasized. The course is beneficial for riders on any type of street motorcycle.

The ARC can be arranged for your group/club/etc. Call for details.

Information for ALL Courses:
